About the Role
JSA Logistics Inc. is hiring dependable and safety-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team in a fast-paced delivery environment. As a key player in our logistics operation, you'll help deliver smiles and build lasting relationships through reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver goods according to assigned routes while adhering strictly to traffic regulations.
- Lift, carry, and handle packages safely.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain optimal safety and compliance with commercial driving regulations.
- Use a handheld device/app to navigate and complete deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with recipients, addressing questions professionally, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting team members with manual handling tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency throughout your shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Prior delivery driver experience in a commercial setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and courier services will be advantageous.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS technology.
