About the Role
Robinhood’s Crypto team is responsible for the customer experience in crypto, from initial coin purchases to active trading and onchain activities, integrating centralized and decentralized finance. As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design strategy and execution for retail crypto trading and onchain experiences, balancing new initiatives with iterative improvements. You will collaborate with engineering, product, compliance, and legal teams to shape the future of retail crypto at Robinhood. Design at Robinhood is AI-first, and this role requires active use of AI in the design workflow.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the product design strategy for retail crypto experiences, balancing new initiatives with iterative improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design leadership, legal, and compliance from concept to launch.
- Translate complex concepts into usable and intuitive experiences for both new and experienced users.
- Utilize AI for problem exploration, edge case identification, and rapid prototyping, guiding intent, structure, and quality.
- Maintain and elevate design quality standards within the crypto team.
Requirements
- Strong product design experience with end-to-end ownership of complex, consumer-facing products.
- Active use of AI in your design workflow.
- Solid systems thinking, balancing detail with the big picture.
- Experience partnering with engineering, product, research, legal, and compliance in a regulated environment.
- A strong bias for action and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Crypto curiosity—fluency and eagerness to learn are required.
