About the Role
N&S Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Fishkill. This role is crucial in supporting our Outside Sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Outside Sales team with customer quotes and orders.
- Gather information and sales resources to provide job quote bids.
- Provide customers with spec sheets and technical information.
- Generate new and repeat sales through email and phone leads.
- Gain expertise in the company's Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products.
- Determine customer needs, recommend products, and provide pricing and quotes.
- Assist walk-in customers at the counter by writing and shipping/scheduling orders.
- Support the Counter team by writing and completing walk-in orders.
- Take customer orders over the phone.
- Ship orders for pickup.
- Handle payments for orders.
- Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule.
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC and plumbing is required.
- Prior sales experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer and email skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend.
