About the Role

With a modern machine park, high technical competence, and a clear focus on sustainable material flow solutions, we realize demanding projects for public and private clients. Through the close integration of dismantling, material processing, concrete, and landscaping, we create economical and resource-efficient solutions from a single source. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager (m/f/d) in a permanent full-time position, who will take operational responsibility for our demolition and earthworks projects in the Berlin region. You are responsible for the successful implementation of our demolition and earthworks projects and ensure that the highest demands on work safety and economic success go hand in hand. With optimal control of material flows, recycling rates, and disposal routes, you make a significant contribution to the profitability and sustainability of our company. Your workplace is in Berlin. You report to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- Overall operational responsibility for several demolition and earthworks projects
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of site managers, foremen, and construction site teams
- Ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, costs, and especially safety goals
- Management of economic project execution from order handover to final invoice
- Conducting regular project and results reviews
- Responsibility for claims management and project controlling
- Active management and optimization of material flows, recycling routes, and disposal costs
- Close cooperation with the recycling, logistics, and disposal departments
- Ensuring compliance with all environmental and waste law regulations
- Contact person for clients, authorities, planners, and subcontractors
- Support with calculation, work preparation, and bid review
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in civil engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a Site Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Manager in demolition, earthworks, civil engineering, or infrastructure
- Demonstrable leadership experience in managing multiple construction sites and project teams
- Sound knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and construction contract law
- Experience in claims management, project controlling, and results responsibility
- Knowledge in the field of recycling, disposal, or construction material cycles is desirable
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a high degree of cost and responsibility awareness
- Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and strong communication skills
