About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join an established building services contractor specializing in electrical and mechanical installations across commercial environments. The business delivers technically challenging projects, focusing on commercial office fit-outs, Cat A and Cat B refurbishments, and complex electrical building services installations. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out projects, ideally managing electrical packages valued at £10 million or above.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical installations across large-scale commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Oversee electrical packages valued at £10 million or above.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with mechanical teams, consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage electrical installations including power, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarms, security systems, and LV distribution.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and commercial performance.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
- Manage technical issues, design coordination, and project variations.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, handover, and project close-out.
- Lead and support project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager.
- Strong experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Experience managing large electrical packages, ideally valued at £10 million or above.
- Strong understanding of electrical building services and commercial installations.
- Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, programmes, and project budgets.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage project costs effectively.
- Good knowledge of electrical regulations, health and safety, and quality standards.
- Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
