About the Role
Argus Search is a specialized HR and Finance recruitment consultancy connecting top talent with leading companies in Berlin. We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of (Senior) Accountant (gn) on behalf of a client.
Responsibilities
- Operative processing of accounts receivable and payable processes
- Posting of incoming payments
- Processing and checking of incoming invoices
- Clearing of open items and activities within the scope of the monthly operational closing
- Dunning and payment monitoring
- Written and telephone communication with customers and internal stakeholders
- Use of systems such as ERP (Agresso), customer management tool, Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office
- Contribution to digital processes and optimization of existing workflows
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
- Experience in operational accounting, ideally accounts receivable/payable
- High affinity for numbers, accuracy, and enjoyment of operational work
- Strong communication skills (written & telephone)
- Fluent German (min. C2) and good English skills
