About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support sales cycles by understanding customer needs, planning deal support, delivering compelling value-oriented demonstrations, and supporting customer Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to drive deal closure.
- Present Snowflake's technology and vision to executive and IT technical audiences at prospective and existing customers.
- Demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle via demos and PoCs.
- Understand the competitive landscape, related technologies, and vendors to position Snowflake effectively.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to drive product improvements and marketing activities.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of industry experience with 3+ years in a pre-sales environment.
- Presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboard presentations and demos.
- Broad experience with large-scale databases, data warehousing technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics.
- Ability to articulate customer business challenges and map them to Snowflake solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
