About the Role

As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), you will enable customers to achieve their outcomes based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your Security, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure technical subject matter expertise, you will lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments, including identifying resolutions to issues blocking customer success projects. Responsibilities

Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor.
Provide feedback and insights from customers/partners and be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices.
Connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (e.g., Zero Trust) spanning Microsoft Security offerings, with a focus on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management, and Cloud Security.
Position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage.
Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results and help customers get value from their Microsoft investments.
Identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise.
Deliver according to MS best practices and using repeatable IP.
Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring the solution exhibits a "Secure by Design" framework.
Align individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals.
Share expertise and contribute to Intellectual Property (IP) creation and re-use.
Run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution, governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment.
Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Must obtain and maintain a Reliability Status security screening with the Government of Canada.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
6+ years experience leading technical projects.
Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in: Sentinel, all Defender Workloads and Data Security strategies and solutions, Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust strategies including Zero trust Foundations, Defend Against Threats, Protect and Govern Sensitive Data.
Deep knowledge of solution architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of Cloud Security in order to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems, process improvement, organizational change, or strategic planning and policy development.
Understanding of how Microsoft Security, compliance, and identity solutions can span across solution areas to provide a holistic and end-to-end solution.
An active Canadian Government Secret Clearance or the ability to secure Secret Clearance with the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) of Public Services and Procurement Canada.
Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts.
Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, Messaging/collaboration/Network/Security administrators, and solution architecture teams).
Ability to understand customer’s Security related business requirements and customer problems and solve them through Microsoft cloud technologies.
Competitive Landscape knowledge of Security platforms.
Technical aptitude and experience to learn new cloud technologies and understand relevant cloud market trends.
