About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to define the product vision and expand our product suite for our AI infrastructure design and management platform. You will develop frameworks and processes to integrate insights from various teams and customers, strengthening our cutting-edge platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop the multi-year vision and roadmap for our AI Scheduling product, covering job queuing, resource allocation, latency optimization, and reliability at scale.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams to define and deliver essential capabilities for enterprise and developer customers.
- Engage directly with customers to identify unmet needs, validate product direction, and make clear product decisions based on complex or conflicting input.
- Monitor the competitive and technical landscape, including distributed systems, orchestration tools, and AI workload patterns, translating trends into roadmap implications.
- Support leadership with product launches, roadmap reviews, and the broader product narrative.
- Create tight feedback loops between customers and engineering to continuously improve performance, usability, and reliability.
- Support go-to-market activities by contributing to product messaging, documentation, and technical content, including blogs, white papers, and presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling products.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
- Proven track record of defining and delivering multi-year product roadmaps.
- Product management experience with cloud or cluster management technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, Slurm, VMware, or similar platforms.
- Working understanding of machine learning infrastructure and software, including compute hardware, communication layers, models, inference engines, orchestration tools, and common user and developer workflows.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and able to make clear decisions with incomplete information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, executives, and enterprise customers.
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor, with impact driven by insight, ownership, and cross-functional influence.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing quality or momentum.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% between our German and US locations.
