About the Role
Walter P Moore seeks a Project Manager to join their Structural Engineering team. This role involves managing structural projects for clients including architects, developers, institutions, and contractors, serving major projects throughout the United States and internationally. A proactive, client-service oriented approach is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural projects.
- Serve clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally.
- Design and delivery of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.
Requirements
- At least 9 years relevant experience in a structural engineering consulting role.
- At least 3 years of managing structural projects.
- Experience working on design and delivery of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.
- High energy level and self-motivated.
- Ability to work within a strong team environment.
- Strong customer service attitude.
- 9+ years’ experience in relevant commercial building design within healthcare, aviation, sport, higher education, municiple or public assembly.
- Demonstrated career growth that includes 3+ years project management of structural, enclosures or parking structure projects.
- Ability to obtain P.E. or AIA licensure within 6 months.
- Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.
