About the Role

We have an immediate position available for a Paid Media Manager to help lead and further Material's media practice. This role will operate as the glue of the media team – helping to drive media plan strategies and implementation of approved plans forward. The Paid Media Manager will bring a level of dependence and stability to the team while also helping to manage and collaborate with execution teams. This is a fluid position that will require the ability to flex up or down depending on the need at any given time. The ideal candidate should have a background in the strategy, planning, and evaluation of search, social and programmatic digital media while also possessing the ability to tell a compelling and client-focused story that demonstrates how media drives measurable and impactful results for a brand at the macro level.

Responsibilities

  • Be a strong storyteller with an ability to “sell-in” media plans to clients
  • Have an exceptional understanding of media strategy and tactics with an informed and well-defined POV on the elements of a successful, modern media program.
  • Lead, prepare and deliver digital campaign strategies and oversee plan implementation and execution—managing execution teams for campaign design, performance and pacing
  • Find opportunities for media partnerships and steward these relationships to build and futureproof the practice
  • Work collaboratively with our Measurement and Insights team to find, develop and apply data in order to inform performance, optimizations and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively across the rest of the media practice; works cross-functionally with other teams like account management and creative; and supports our broader network on things like new business, thought leadership, etc.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of media planning with current or history of agency experience; has worked with both B2B and B2C clients
  • Exceptional, operational understanding of current and future state digital media landscape and fundamentals
  • Extensive ability to craft and deliver presentations
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated research tools (com ব্যবস্থা, Nielsen, MRI, Kantar, eMarketer, etc.)
  • Comfortable collaborating on buying execution with partners
  • Ability to identify, organize, prioritize and manage the workloads for self
  • Drive to win new business and a desire to collaborate and grow the practice with other senior team members and executive leadership
