About the Role
SANY’s Utica Academy of Science Charter School's Elementary School is seeking dynamic and creative Long Term Lead Substitute Teachers for grades K-5. This role offers a great environment for both new and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum.
- Collaborate with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Prepare students for standardized tests relevant to the content area.
- Utilize analytics and data to drive instruction and promote learning.
- Manage classrooms effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- New York State Certification preferred.
- Experience with diverse student populations or in an urban setting is a plus.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education.
