About the Role
We are seeking a Per Diem Chef to join the Clementine team, with the possibility of supporting other Monte Nido residential programs in the Westchester County area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare nourishing, well-balanced, and appealing meals for clients.
- Facilitate and model normalized eating for our clients.
- Maintain kitchen and oversee work of food service staff.
- Collaborate with clinical team to meet nutritional needs in a holistic setting.
- Adapt and create individualized menu items.
- Order food and supplies needed for kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Significant cooking experience is important.
- A friendly personality is important in this healthcare setting.
- Able to prepare dishes with desirable presentation.
- Flexibility, reliability, and responsibility are critical characteristics.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.
Skills
- ServSafe certification is preferred.
