About the Role
Health Center Inc. is seeking a maintenance worker for its Brooklyn location. The role is crucial for ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Ensure facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and common areas.
- Identify maintenance issues and report or escalate repairs when necessary.
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed.
Requirements
- One year of experience in facilities/building operations maintenance required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
