About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Seasonal Data Entry Specialist is to support and assist with various aspects of donation processing through the year-end donation period. This position is a full-time seasonal position from November 2026 through January 2027, and requires full-time onsite work from our New York City offices.
Responsibilities
- Open and sort incoming mail.
- Sort gifts and create gift batches for data entry.
- Scan gift information to electronic files for gift processing.
- Transfer data into Raiser’s Edge donor database.
- Download distribution reports from third party platforms.
- Deposit checks via remote deposit.
- Process credit card transactions.
- Reconcile gift batches to source documents.
- Maintain paper and electronic donation files.
Requirements
- Minimum of one years’ experience with data entry.
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrates superior attention to detail.
- Operates effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Demonstrates superior time management skills with the ability to work effectively under, and consistently meet, deadlines, and adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
