About the Role

This role supports the Retail Store Manager with the daily operations, merchandising, and inventory of the team store. The position leads the team in keeping the store clean, stocked, and visually appealing, and handles store opening and closing in line with safety and security protocols.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while being solution-oriented and forward thinking
Adhere to all retail policies and procedures including POS, Operations and Inventory Management
Lead the team in daily maintenance of the store including restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising and cleaning
Utilize the utmost responsibility, attention to protocol and safety standards in closing/opening the store daily
Encourage employees to give 100% and always adhere to punctuality and role responsibilities
Complete weekly manual restock and send report to inventory management
Complete weekly cycle counts
Assist in processing weekly shipments
Ensure all store supplies are stocked and communicate needs monthly
Process all online returns and defective products as needed
Ensure all restock and destock of merchandise is handled on a daily basis
Assist in keeping the backroom clean and bins organized
Manage the mannequin refresh and checking one offs
Ensure all merchandising standards are happening on the floor
Interact and communicate with Lead Supervisor and Store Manager
Maintain interior and exterior upkeep of building with partnership from the corporate partners; communicate needs to ensure esthetic and safety requirements are met

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Some college coursework preferred
1–3 years of retail experience
Some experience in a lead, key holder, or supervisory role preferred
Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and cycle counts
Knowledge of visual merchandising standards, including mannequin and floor displays
Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues calmly and quickly
Ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable under the direction of management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with inventory reports and stock levels
Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with the Lead Supervisor, Store Manager, Inventory Management, and corporate partners
Dependable and punctual, with the ability to follow opening, closing, and safety procedures responsibly
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Able to stand for long periods, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and use ladders to restock and set displays
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and game days as needed
