About the Role
Keenova is a leader in inhaled nitric oxide therapy for critically ill infants. This role is key to enabling Keenova to deliver its valued medical device care program to Canadian hospitals and will help grow the company's medical device use in indicated patients across Ontario and Manitoba.
Responsibilities
- Provide brand information to key Neonatologists, Respiratory Therapists and key Decision Makers.
- Uncover growth opportunities for the company device.
- Represent key hospitals in partnership with our contracting group to track and maintain existing contracts.
- Provide accurate forecasting of the planned use of the medical device for the targeted hospitals.
- Manage the annual preventative maintenance schedule for the devices in the territory.
- Deliver the revenue target for the brand in the assigned territory.
- Ensure that the Respiratory Therapists and Allied Health Care Professionals are trained to deliver the device treatment to their patients.
- Partner with Medical to implement robust HCP learning programs aligned with HCP needs and brand strategy.
- Deliver sales targets for defined accounts in line with company goals.
- Implement a business development mind set to build and implement a detailed plan of action that leads to optimized performance.
- Learn deep therapeutic knowledge and provide value in a complex healthcare ecosystem.
- Build detailed regional account plans tracking activities and performance.
- Adhere to code of ethics and pharmacovigilance process while maintaining high integrity.
- Build deep HCP and stakeholder relationships based on providing trustworthy solutions.
- Remain current and knowledgeable regarding existing contracts with hospitals.
- Uncover new opportunities for growth within indicated use.
- Collaborate with Medical, Field Technical Support, Clinical and Scientific Development and other departments to meet team goals.
- In-service product and therapeutic education to HCP’s ensuring safe and effective use of product.
Requirements
- Respiratory Therapist trained.
- Experience with commercialization of Medical Devices and Hospital Account Management.
- Minimum of 5 years hospital sales experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills/abilities and a track record of working in a collaborative environment.
- A strong record of sales performance and success.
Skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good understanding of healthcare and hospital ecosystem
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong presentation, project management and negotiation skills
- Management/supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in healthcare industry sales and business planning is preferred.
