About the Role
Next 150 Construction, a subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking an Accounting Practitioner to perform basic accounting tasks and partner with the accounting team. This role offers extensive career growth opportunities and the chance to build diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Scanning AP Invoices
- Process payments, invoices and vouchers
- Extract specified information or add appropriate standard coding and attachments to documents
- Compile simple summaries of information relating to documents processed
- Manage timesheet collection, approval and other items related to the payroll process
- Locate and extract information from files and records as requested
- Perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division manually or using a calculator
- Assist Senior Accounting Practitioner under close supervision
Requirements
- Entry level - 1 year experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
