About the Role

Sapience AI is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a product area end-to-end, leading a cross-functional team to translate strategy into a reliable product. This role is crucial for making strategic decisions and ensuring rapid, successful product delivery in the AI market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for your product area, grounded in member needs, market evidence, and company goals.
  • Make clear prioritization calls, and protect the roadmap from reactive churn.
  • Sequence work so each release builds toward a strategy, not a list of features.
  • Run discovery with members, buyers, and internal experts to understand the real problem before committing to a solution.
  • Write clear definitions of what to build and why, including the assumptions and the bet behind each one.
  • Validate early and often, so the team learns fast and adjusts faster.
  • Lead a cross-functional team through delivery, unblocking decisions and keeping momentum.
  • Own trade-offs on scope, quality, and time, and make them explicit.
  • Ship reliably, and hold a clear bar for what launch-ready means.
  • Make sound calls about where AI helps, where it fails, and how to design for its limits.
  • Design for trust: provenance, guardrails, and honest handling of uncertainty in what the platform tells members.
  • Partner with applied AI and research to turn capability into dependable product behavior.
  • Keep member value and trust at the center of every decision.
  • Define the outcomes your area is accountable for, and measure them honestly.
  • Own adoption and time-to-value, not just shipped features.
  • Instrument your area so you can tell whether a bet is working.
  • Turn signals into decisions, and shorten the distance from learning to change.
  • Run experiments where the answer is genuinely uncertain.
  • Align engineering, design, product marketing, and operations around a shared plan and a shared point of view.
  • Communicate clearly across the company, up and sideways, so people know what is happening and why.
  • Partner with the product marketer as the market lens, and with go-to-market on launch readiness.
  • Advance the underlying platform capability your area depends on, in partnership with platform and architecture teams.
  • Balance customer-facing value with the durable investments MINERVA and COGENT need.
  • Help steer the platform through GR and GA milestones with a clear view of what each unlocks.
  • Use AI to synthesize research, draft definitions, analyze signals, and explore options, then apply judgment.
  • Partner with AI to accelerate work, owning the judgment, interpretation, and call.

Requirements

  • Six or more years in product management, with a track record of owning a product area end to end.
  • Experience shipping AI or ML products, with sound judgment about their strengths and limits.
  • A record of setting strategy, making hard prioritization calls, and delivering outcomes.
  • Strong discovery and validation instincts with real members and buyers.
  • Technical fluency to partner credibly with engineering and applied AI.
  • Analytical rigor with product metrics and the judgment to separate signal from noise.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience with retrieval, agents, knowledge graphs, or neuro-symbolic systems.
  • Experience building trust-sensitive products with sensitive data.
  • Familiarity with CRM, AMS, or knowledge-platform ecosystems.
  • Domain understanding of professional communities or membership-driven organizations.
  • Experience helping define a new product or category.
  • Lead with the member and name the real problem before the solution.
  • Hold a clear, bold point of view and defend it with evidence.
  • Make hard calls, own them, and keep the team moving.
  • Treat trust and honesty about AI’s limits as first-order.
  • Communicate clearly and bring people with you.
  • Treat learning as the job and change course without ego.
  • Prior senior product management at a software or AI company.
  • A track record of owning a product area and its outcomes.
  • Experience shipping AI-driven products to real audiences.
  • Experience in trust-sensitive or regulated domains is a plus.

About the Company

  • Sapience AI is the collective intelligence platform for professional communities.
  • We sit above the CRMs, AMS platforms, and knowledge bases that organizations already run, and we turn the expertise scattered across them into something every member can search, act on, and share.
  • Our work is grounded in four commitments: technology elevates people and never replaces them, the best expertise is already inside the community, everything is built on trust, and every deployment is purpose-driven for the organization it serves.
  • Let’s achieve more, together.
