About the Role
The Day Habilitation Manager will undertake various supervisory, participant-related, and administrative tasks associated with providing habilitation services for the Day Habilitation Programs and Creative Expressions Programs. This role also assists in planning and implementing services and activities, promotes participant well-being and protects individual rights, aligning with the agency's mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Performs staff management functions including recruitment, orientation, training, supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Meets regularly with staff to discuss performance, service delivery, and program planning.
- Provides ongoing supervision of staff to ensure efficient service delivery and participant satisfaction.
- Oversees the individual program planning process, including record maintenance, to ensure appropriate service provision and financial compliance.
- Ensures plans and services are individualized to promote independence, integration, and productivity.
- Collaborates with individuals, staff, and other service providers.
- Attends team meetings as needed.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Human Services Field.
- Over three (3) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Includes supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
