About the Role
TileBar is seeking an Accounting Associate to support its growing business. This role will assist accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with daily functions, offering opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Enter ACH payments for payables.
- Open accounting mail and distribute it to the respective teams.
- Process invoice and expense data.
- Complete lien waivers received from customers.
- Deposit customer checks and apply payments.
- Post sales daily.
- Assist with audit data requests, including pulling invoices.
- Assist the Controller with ad hoc analysis and data gathering to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Two or more years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience in a medium to large company.
- Excellent communication skills to keep the team informed of issues and work status.
- Detail oriented, able to multitask, and able to complete work on time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus.
