About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to join Gate One at an exciting phase of growth, focusing on expanding its consulting presence and client portfolio within Financial Services & Insurance, with a particular emphasis on Insurance. It is ideal for experienced consulting leaders seeking greater ownership and influence to help build the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale transformation engagements, advising senior stakeholders.
- Combine delivery leadership with commercial responsibility, shaping and converting new opportunities.
- Lead business and digital transformation programmes from strategy through to execution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Lead blended Gate One and client teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Provide expertise across operating model, technology, transformation delivery, data, AI, customer, and organisational change.
- Provide senior oversight and quality assurance across engagements.
- Build and deepen relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Leverage existing network to identify and develop new opportunities.
- Identify, shape, and lead new opportunities within client accounts.
- Lead proposals, bids, and business development pursuits.
- Drive account growth through strategic relationship development and thought leadership.
- Support the growth of Gate One's US FS&I presence, with Insurance as a priority area, through account development and market engagement.
- Help develop Gate One's transformation propositions and FS&I capability in the US, including its Insurance offering.
- Work closely with colleagues across the US and UK to bring the best of Gate One to clients.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor consultants across the business.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, knowledge sharing, and capability building.
- Play an active role in shaping the firm's culture and future growth.
Requirements
- Significant experience from a management consulting environment.
- Strong track record of leading complex transformation programmes.
- Experience operating at Senior Manager or Principal level in a consulting environment.
- Track record of leading complex client engagements.
- Strong experience leading business and digital transformation programmes.
- Strong experience across Financial Services & Insurance environments.
- Meaningful Insurance exposure highly valued.
- Proven business development experience, including account growth, opportunity shaping, and proposal leadership.
- A strong professional network and a track record of developing trusted client relationships.
- Experience leading consulting teams and developing others.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication and influencing skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help grow a fast-moving consulting business.
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in the United States.
