About the Role
Werkskolleg offers practice-oriented, state-funded training in future-oriented skilled trades, including security and high-voltage technology. This 12-week, state-funded online course provides a step-by-step introduction to the security sector, leading to a recognized certificate for the job market.
Responsibilities
- Provide organizational orientation and introduce key terms and exam-relevant content for the knowledge test (§34a GewO).
- Teach central legal areas such as public safety and order, trade law, data protection, and criminal and civil law for legally sound actions.
- Train professional interaction with people, including conflict management, de-escalation techniques, and sensitive handling of different cultures.
- Provide insight into technical systems, operational resources, and regulations for occupational safety and accident prevention in security services.
- Cover practical content for property protection and situation-appropriate action, including intensive preparation for the IHK examination and support for career entry.
Requirements
- Seeking a new challenge or looking to restart after a break.
- Possess a confident demeanor and be physically fit.
- Demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and commitment.
- Speak German orally at a minimum of B1 level.
- Currently registered as unemployed with the Employment Agency / Jobcenter.
