About the Role
Lupa is building an AI-native operating system for veterinary practices and pet parents, aiming to replace fragmented systems with an intelligent platform for scheduling, client communication, clinical documentation, and AI-driven care guidance. This role offers a chance to join a rapidly growing startup and shape the Quality Engineering function.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end testing process for your product area alongside development, from drafting BDD scenarios and acceptance criteria through to release.
- Decide what gets automated and build it.
- Review AI-drafted tests and catch flaky tests or visual regressions before they reach merge.
- Run smoke tests and exploratory testing at release and be accountable for smooth releases.
- Work directly with engineers from the start of a feature.
- Help shape the QE function as it is built from scratch.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a QE, SDET, or software engineering role, or a strong recent graduate with real coding experience.
- Comfortable owning both manual and automated testing end to end.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation and TypeScript.
- Confident writing BDD-style scenarios from acceptance criteria.
- Genuinely AI fluent, using AI tools daily and critically reviewing AI-generated output.
- Mobile automation experience is a plus.
