About the Role
The Export & QA Document Coordinator will work within a team of Quality associates in conjunction with Logistics and Production to produce the highest quality Dr. Oetker pizza, where food safety and security are of the utmost importance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end export process, including monitoring production export activities and liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other external service providers.
- Work closely with Dr. Oetker’s Quality Assurance team and CFIA on all product shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all required international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Accurately review and prepare documents, including export documents from raw material to finished goods.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Production to determine solutions and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work closely with diverse external partners such as Supply Chain, CFIA, External Warehouses, Global transport and logistics companies and international providers to ensure timelines and requirements for custom clearances are met.
- Compile and organize production documents for consumer complaints and audit purposes.
- Lead and coordinate consumer quality complaints with the quality assurance team.
- Flexibility in hours are required as start and end times may vary based on operational needs.

Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and competing priorities.
- Ability to understand and stay up to date on border controls and requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Self-starter with the confidence to bring forward issues and propose solutions.
- Strong customer service orientation with proven conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to touch and taste pork, chicken, beef and cheese in a food manufacturing environment.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada without additional sponsorship support.

- Dr. Oetker is a state-of-the-art Pizza Production Facility in London, Ontario.
- With our Head Quarters in Germany, and operations in over 40 countries around the world, we are an international company with deep family roots dating back to 1891.
- Our London facility, which employees about 300 associates, was built in 2014 and showcases modern, highly automated, high volume production lines where we produce Ristorante, Casa di Mama and Giuseppe pizzas under the Dr. Oetker label.
- In our facility, we start with raw materials such as flour and yeast to make a great pizza crust, topping with sauce and ingredients to make a fantastic, finished pizza and then freezing and packaging the pizzas for retail distribution.
