About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, sharp, and execution-driven Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of program delivery within our London office. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level execution. Your mission goes beyond basic project tracking: you will establish benchmark project standards, enforce rigorous change control, protect commercial baselines, and consistently surpass customer expectations.

- Build, baseline, and defend full Project Management Plans (PMP) detailing execution rationale, resource allocation, procurement pathways, and risk protocols.
- Own the master schedule, track critical paths, manage baselines, and control performance across time, cost, quality, and operational impact.
- Manage change requests with discipline, evaluate operational and financial impacts, maintain the Change Register, and protect project baselines from scope creep.
- Enforce Arrive’s standard phase-gate methodologies across the full project lifecycle, ensuring zero compromises on quality or operational readiness.
- Treat the project business case as a living document, aligning every operational decision with overarching financial health and commercial viability.
- Forecast, track, and manage capital and operational expenditures, linking scope changes directly to financial impact to prevent margin erosion.
- Maintain line-of-sight across internal specifications and external customer contracts, partnering with Commercial teams to enforce T&Cs, claims control, and baseline management.
- Own the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies/Opportunities), quantifying threats early and implementing decisive mitigation strategies.
- Partner with functional leads to secure, deploy, and retain the human and material resources required for high-velocity delivery.
- Build credibility across senior internal executives, external partners, public transit authorities, and enterprise customers through clear, structured communication plans.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex, high-stakes projects within the Transport, Mobility, Software markets.
- Deep fluency in formal project methodologies (APM, PRINCE2, Agile, or PMI) and hands-on experience navigating Phase-Gate governance structures.
- Strong proficiency in P&L tracking, contract management, cost forecasting, and baseline change control.
- Proven ability to manage customer-facing deliverables where operational downtime or delays carry direct reputational and commercial risk.
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at presenting actionable data to C-suite leadership.
- Acts with the end-user and client in mind, turning potential roadblocks into transparent, collaborative solutions.
- Zero tolerance for delays and a relentless drive for operational excellence.
- Balances firm commercial boundaries with strong relationship preservation during complex stakeholder negotiations.
- Comfortable making high-impact decisions under pressure while holding delivery teams accountable to world-class standards.
