About the Role

As a Buyers Assistant Production, you will play a vital role in supporting CarMax’s Merchandising team by ensuring accurate inventory presentation and smooth operational processes. This position focuses on customer service excellence, vehicle imaging, lot merchandising, and auction support, all while maintaining CarMax’s commitment to integrity and innovation.

Responsibilities

Capture high-quality images of wholesale vehicles for CarMax websites.
Secure and verify vehicles, ensuring appraisal information accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Perform vehicle confirmations and transfers, communicating details promptly and accurately.
Assist with inventory optioning to maintain accurate vehicle data.
Support lot staging and merchandising projects, partnering with Inventory and Sales teams.
Provide auction support, including imaging, staging, scanning, and auction day assistance.
Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate across departments.
Strong skills to read, interpret, and maintain accurate records.
Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Effective verbal communication and listening skills for internal and external interactions.
Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
