About the Role
This role focuses on the Air practice line, involving corporate air program strategy design and execution. The Air Consultant will support global air consulting project workstreams across multiple clients and lead smaller regional engagements, acting as a self-starter with consulting, project management, and industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Support global air consulting project workstreams across multiple clients.
- Lead smaller regional engagements.
- Complete multi-workstream engagements, prioritizing client requests and work objectives using project management methodologies and tools.
- Create deliverables within established engagement scope, quality standards, and time frames.
- Develop hypotheses and identify data to evaluate based on client needs.
- Develop options/alternatives and create insightful recommendations.
- Communicate complex subject matter into key messages for team members and clients.
- Understand client organization and dynamics.
- Build strong working relationships with all key partners.
- Utilize Amex GBT and industry tools to develop best-in-class results and standard processes.
Requirements
- Must have Air/ Travel experience.
- Proven experience and understanding of the airline industry is a must.
- Ability to accommodate client travel up to 20%.
- Relevant experience within Air travel, such as with an airline, procurement, strategic sourcing etc.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions.
- Strong communication skills; the ability to build a story and deliver that in a presentation.
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization.
