Responsibilities
- Coach student athletes at the high school level, stressing academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
- Prepare student athletes for higher levels of competition.
- Foster discipline, enjoyment of play, competition, and dedication to hard work.
Requirements
- New York State Coaching Certification
- Valid First Aid course
- Valid Adult CPR certification
- Child Abuse Identification workshop
- School Violence Intervention and Prevention workshop
- Dignity For All Students Act (DASA) workshop
- Fingerprint Clearance
- School District Recommendation
- Pass a fingerprint-based background check
- Previous Coaching Experience (preferred)
- Valid Concussion Management Certificate (preferred)
