About the Role
The Syracuse City School District is seeking dedicated and diverse educators to partner in moving the district toward its goals of ensuring all students graduate high school ready for college and career. We are looking for individuals passionately committed to urban education and all in for Syracuse students.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Head/Assistant Bowling Coach for ITC High School Unified team.
- Develop student athletes' skills, discipline, enjoyment of play, competition, and dedication.
- Prepare student athletes for higher levels of competition.
- Stress the development of academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship at the high school level.
Requirements
- Must possess New York State Coaching Certification.
- Must have a Valid First Aid course.
- Must have a Valid Adult CPR certification.
- Must have completed the Child Abuse Identification Workshop.
- Must have completed the School Violence Intervention and Prevention Workshop.
- Must have completed the Dignity For All Students Act (DASA) Workshop.
- Must have Fingerprint Clearance.
- Must have a School District Recommendation.
- Must pass a fingerprint-based background check ($102.50 cost to candidate).
