About the Role

You will own the integration and value creation process for acquired companies, ensuring they run better after becoming part of Andercore. This involves diagnosing operational realities, implementing value creation levers, and building a repeatable integration playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Hold management from Day 1 of acquisition.
  • Establish baseline metrics including revenue, margin, working capital, cash, and customer/supplier concentration.
  • Execute commitments made during due diligence.
  • Manage the portfolio as a financial participation, ensuring continued growth.
  • Conduct on-the-ground diagnosis of acquired businesses to understand their true operational standing.
  • Map connection points across procurement, pricing, inventory, sales, logistics, financing, ERP, and reporting.
  • Test integration hypotheses against reality and quantify successful ones.
  • Sequence and implement value creation levers with management teams.
  • Determine which functions to centralize, which to keep entrepreneurial, and which to adopt from acquired companies.
  • Track the P&L impact of all value creation levers in euros.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners and management teams, acting as a peer and providing candid feedback.
  • Codify the integration process into a repeatable capability, including checklists, reporting standards, diagnostic frameworks, and playbooks.
  • Build and lead a team to manage multiple integrations in parallel.

Requirements

  • Experience as an operator from a private equity value-creation or portfolio operations team, or a generalist from strategy and transformation with direct operating company experience.
  • Approximately eight to twelve years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in at least one integration or post-close situation where a specific, knotty problem was solved.
  • Substantive operating experience in areas such as procurement, pricing, supply chain, finance, or sales.
  • Comfort working with intelligent, potentially rough-around-the-edges entrepreneurs.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Strong observational skills to quickly and accurately assess businesses and people.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Fluency with modern AI tooling and an instinct for automating work.
  • Experience in building integration processes, not just executing inherited ones.
