About the Role
As a Project Manager in specialized civil engineering, you will contribute to a demanding infrastructure project, taking responsibility for the execution of a complex construction project. You will be responsible for a significant project area and ensure structured and successful implementation together with the involved planning, construction, and project partners.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for a defined project area within a complex infrastructure project
- Management of technical and organizational processes during the construction phase
- Coordination of involved specialist planners, construction supervisors, and executing partners
- Evaluation of technical issues and coordination of suitable solutions
- Ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality targets within your area of responsibility
- Management of changes, additional orders, and project-related risks
- Coordination with clients, project partners, and other stakeholders
- Structured documentation and tracking of key project decisions
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in demanding construction or infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge in specialized civil engineering, e.g., for bored piles, diaphragm walls, deep soil mixing, sheet piling, or deep excavations
- Experience in leading, managing, or coordinating projects and project participants
- Solid understanding of technical, time-related, and economic contexts
- Structured way of working and confident interaction with various project partners
- Very good German and good English language skills
