About the Role
Nua Materials is seeking a technical Co-Founder & CTO to build a scalable product and company alongside the existing founder, starting from a validated concept. The role involves owning product and technology in the early stage, defining critical workflows with users, building the first usable product, and developing the Nua Score with a robust data and system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Define critical workflows with users and build the first usable product.
- Develop the Nua Score and build a robust data and system architecture across multiple external data sources.
- Decide what to build now, what to add later, what to automate, and what should not become part of the product.
- Work directly with early customers and partners.
- Build a small product and engineering team over time.
Requirements
- Ability to turn an ambiguous customer problem into a clear, testable product approach and build it.
- Experience with data-heavy platforms, scoring or comparison systems.
- Ability to discuss failure modes, data-quality issues, and validation decisions.
- Strong backend and data architecture skills.
- Proficiency on the frontend to ship early product versions.
- Ability to build transparent, credible systems for risk-sensitive enterprise customers.
- Experience founding a company, being an early technical hire at a startup, or taking on comparable ownership.
- Business-fluent German.
- Professional English.
