About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented copyeditor to review content produced by our writing team before publication. The role focuses on Amazon product listings, theme-related texts, and other ad-hoc content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand and platform standards.

Responsibilities

• Proofread and correct copy for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting to a US English standard.
• Verify product data, names, measurements, and facts for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and flag issues such as character-limit breaches, structural problems, forbidden terms, and D&I considerations.
• Utilize style guides, approved names files, and briefs to guide edits.
• Collaborate with writers to resolve queries.
• Adapt to different content types and requirements based on project needs.

Requirements

• Proven copy editing or proofreading experience, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or marketing content.
• Native-level US English proficiency.
• A sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to work accurately at volume and meet deadlines.
• Confidence in working within established guidelines and knowing when to flag issues.
• Flexibility to switch between different content types.
• Familiarity with Amazon listing requirements is a plus.
