About the Role

Responsibilities
- Independent execution of microbiological analyses in the human sector
- Recording, creation, and evaluation of various examination materials
- Microscopic diagnostics and identification of bacteria, fungi, and parasites
- Performance and evaluation of resistance testing
- Validation and release of examination results
- Ensuring high quality, hygiene, and safety standards
- Conducting internal and external quality controls
- Maintenance, servicing, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment
- Documentation of results in the laboratory information system
- Participation in the optimization of laboratory processes and diagnostic methods
- Close cooperation with colleagues from laboratory, medicine, and quality management
Requirements
- Recognized and completed training as MTL-MTA-MTLA / VMTLA (m/f/d) or a successfully completed degree in microbiology
- Ideally, initial professional experience in microbiology, but career starters are also welcome!
- Technical skill in handling analytical devices
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)
- Strong sense of responsibility and diligence characterize you
- Reliability and enjoyment of teamwork are a matter of course for you
- General willingness to work shifts (no night shifts)
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken (min. B2+)
