About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead compliance initiatives and oversee regulatory affairs. You will develop, implement, and manage compliance programs, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves close collaboration with the executive team to align compliance with business strategy and foster a culture of compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in compliance roles within the financial services or fintech industries
- Proven track record of developing and implementing regulatory compliance programs
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including FCA guidelines and consumer protection laws
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align compliance initiatives with business goals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience Level
- 10+ years of experience
Education Level
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCP) are highly desirable
