About the Role
As a (Senior) Manager, you will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and develop our consulting portfolio within the energy sector. You will advise companies on data-driven business model evolution, develop data strategies and architectures, and lead projects related to data platforms, management, and analytics. You will also identify and implement data and AI use cases.
Responsibilities
- Advise companies in the energy industry on the data-driven development of their business models, processes, and IT landscapes.
- Develop data strategies, data governance models, and target architectures, translating them into realistic transformation roadmaps.
- Lead complex projects related to data platforms, data management, and analytics, from conceptualization to IT implementation.
- Identify value-adding data and AI use cases along core energy industry processes and support their implementation and scaling.
- Provide technical and personnel leadership for project teams.
- Maintain existing client relationships and acquire new clients and projects in the energy sector.
- Actively develop our consulting portfolio.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics, (business) engineering, economics, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in management or IT consulting.
- Experience in independently leading complex transformation projects.
- Knowledge of business processes and IT requirements of energy suppliers, network operators, or municipal utilities from long-term project work.
- Familiarity with the energy industry market.
- Sound knowledge in data management, data governance, data architectures, or data platforms.
- Ability to assess the potential of analytics and AI.
- Leadership competence, entrepreneurial thinking, and confident demeanor at the decision-maker level.
- Willingness to travel.
- Very good German and English language skills.
