About the Role
We are seeking an educator (m/f/d) for the evangelical daycare center "Waldhäuschen" in Berlin-Lichtenberg, to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position (35-38.5 hours per week), initially temporary.
Responsibilities
- Provide sensitive, patient, and individual support to children with and without special needs.
- Facilitate professional development, regular participation in team meetings, and supervision.
- Convey a joy for learning through play to support children's development into independent and communal personalities.
- Creatively and democratically implement educational content in learning areas.
- Enjoy pedagogical support of a children's group in a tandem.
- Engage in self-determined and equal work within a lively and open-minded team.
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-recognized educator or pedagogical specialist (m/f/d).
- Ability to listen to children and colleagues, ask open questions, and self-reflect.
- Liveliness, curiosity, and joy in pedagogical work and teamwork.
- Presentation of an extended certificate of good conduct and measles protection.
Skills
- Focus on the strengths, competencies, and resources of children and families as the basis for pedagogical work.

Salary/Compensations
- Minimum €3,806.93 monthly gross for full-time employment (depending on professional experience), based on the Arbeitsvertragsrichtlinien des Diakonischen Werkes Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz, EG 7.
