The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing fund accounting activities, including financial reporting, cash management, tax reporting, investor reporting, and month-end and year-end close processes. Working closely with clients, auditors, tax advisers, and internal teams, you will help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support the efficient operation of complex investment structures. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting expertise and a client-focused mindset. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your career within the financial services industry, gain exposure to a diverse range of real estate and infrastructure investments, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our fund administration business.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax obligations by reviewing ATO filings (ITR, BAS, IAS, AIIR, etc.), monitoring fund activities, and minimizing operational and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with clients, investors, and stakeholders through regular meetings, relationship management, and timely responses to inquiries regarding fund activities and performance.
  • Assist in setting up procedures for accurate data processing and update for continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet performance expectations.
  • Assist in developing an activity-based worksheet for team members for each fund.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team, including compliance, trustee, and all other teams across the business for client onboarding and setup.
  • Attend external meetings online/offline with various other cross-team members.

  • Solid understanding of trusts, property acquisition and disposal accounting, compliance obligations, and fund administration systems such as Yardi.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong business process knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Fundamental awareness of one's own worldview and acknowledgement that different world views exist.
  • Awareness of personal attitudes, values, beliefs, biases, and assumptions about others.
  • Knowledge of the various dimensions of diversity, including gender, race, and ethnicity.
  • Acknowledging that people from other cultural groups may not share the same beliefs and practices or perceive experiences in the same way.
