You will collaborate with various teams to build intelligent systems that transform live sports data into immersive digital experiences, applying cutting-edge ML techniques and ensuring solutions are scalable and production-ready. Approximately 60% of your time will involve active engineering work, including building POCs, solving technical problems, and improving tooling.

Responsibilities

Guide engineering squads delivering complex AI-driven systems.
Contribute directly to architecture, Proof of Concepts, and high-complexity technical challenges.
Work closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Tech Leads, Technical Architects, Product teams, and creatives.
Build intelligent systems that transform live sports data into immersive digital experiences.
Shape scalable ML pipelines for motion synthesis and trajectory prediction.
Prototype cloud-hosted inference services.
Review technical approaches.
Step into the codebase to unblock delivery.
Help teams apply cutting-edge ML techniques.
Ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and production-ready.
Stay hands-on with active engineering work (approx. 60% of time).
Build POCs, solve difficult technical problems, improve tooling, and support critical delivery initiatives.
Help evolve engineering standards, delivery practices, and technical governance.

Requirements

Strong experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or technical leadership.
Experience deploying ML systems into production, including serving, monitoring, and retraining.
Experience leading or mentoring engineering squads.
Hands-on experience building and training deep learning models in PyTorch.
Familiarity with MLOps tooling such as MLflow and CI/CD workflows.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with sequence models (e.g. transformers, RNNs) or generative models (e.g. diffusion, flow, or GANs).
Experience balancing leadership responsibilities with active development.
Strong stakeholder communication and delivery planning skills.
