About the Role
As a Chemical Laboratory Assistant (m/f/d) at Atotech, a brand of MKS Inc., you will be part of our team in Berlin. Through your independent and customer-oriented work, you and the team will ensure that our quality standards are maintained within the scope of accreditation according to DIN ISO 9001 and 17025.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical investigations for quality and process control
- Perform practical tests for quality and process control
- Evaluate and analyze results
- Maintain databases and transfer results into SAP
- Create documents, reports, and guidelines (SOP) according to ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 17025
- Support the operational readiness of the laboratory, including maintenance and repair of equipment, and procurement of chemicals and devices
- Adhere to all safety regulations and handle chemicals safely
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant (m/f/d), Chemical Technician (m/f/d), CTA, or BA Chemistry
- High degree of personal responsibility combined with a high level of quality awareness, including handling hazardous substances
- Results and customer orientation combined with openness to changing requirements
- Willingness to learn and enjoyment of teamwork
- Professional experience in instrumental analytical chemistry, particularly in wet chemical and physical methods
- Experience in chromatographic analysis and voltammetry
- Very good communication skills in German and English, combined with discretion
- Proficient in MS Office
