About the Role
Stream is hiring a Lead Product Manager to play a critical role in the next phase of their growth. This individual will join the central product team, reporting to the CPO, and will be deployed to address the biggest opportunities or hardest problems. The role offers unusual breadth, real ownership, and the chance to make a provable impact on financial wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Learn at pace, ramping into new areas quickly to understand users, data, economics, and constraints.
- Own outcomes end to end, taking problems from discovery and validation through to launch and iteration.
- Set success metrics, scope the MVP, and take accountability for results.
- Make the commercial case by sizing opportunities and modeling economics for employer partners and users.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Data, Design, Compliance, New Business, and Client Success.
- Engage with senior stakeholders at employer partners.
- Build well in a regulated environment, working closely with Compliance to integrate FCA requirements into product decisions and user journeys.
- Raise the bar on how products are built, using the latest tools to prototype, analyze, and ship faster.
- Share best practices with the wider team.
Requirements
- A proven track record of shipping user-facing mobile or web products end-to-end, from discovery through to launch.
- A commercial mindset and strong quantitative skills.
- Comfortable digging into data using SQL or similar tools.
- Understanding of unit economics and ability to build a business case for leadership.
- Evidence of rapid ramp-up in unfamiliar domains.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to set own direction and work independently.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with internal leadership and senior external clients.
- An AI-native way of working, using AI tools daily for prototyping, data analysis, and market research.
- Experience in financial services or fintech, such as payments, lending, savings or investments, ideally in an FCA-regulated environment (nice to have).
- Familiarity with B2B2C businesses or multi-sided marketplaces (nice to have).
- Experience with API-based infrastructure partners or integrations such as payroll, HR or banking (nice to have).
