About the Role

As a Data & Analytics Consultant, you will support the strategic planning of pharmaceutical companies' marketing departments and the field activities of their sales departments. You will analyze IQVIA's proprietary data, including pharmaceutical sales data, information provision activity data, and Real World Data (claims data), to provide fact-based support. This role involves evaluating the current state of pharmaceutical companies' organizational structures and operational designs, setting strategic improvement scenarios, and optimizing sales activity efficiency using financial models. You will also develop optimal sales representative deployment plans based on market conditions and sales representative activity levels for each sales base.

Responsibilities

Manage projects involving the analysis of pharmaceutical sales data (DDD data) and provide consulting services, including client communication, project management, and team member development.
Develop innovative new services that can become industry gold standards in response to evolving healthcare challenges, such as changes in disease structures (from primary/oncology to specialty/rare diseases) and pharmaceutical companies' information provision systems.
Contribute to the sustainable development of the team through personnel development, particularly focusing on nurturing many junior members, including recent graduates.
Evaluate the current state of pharmaceutical companies' organizational structures and operational designs and set strategic improvement scenarios.
Optimize sales activity efficiency using financial models.
Develop optimal sales representative deployment plans based on market conditions and sales representative activity levels for each sales base.
Analyze various data held by IQVIA and monetize IQVIA data through consulting services.
Provide recommendations to solve healthcare challenges by analyzing the actual drug treatment interventions in each medical region for various healthcare stakeholders.

Requirements

Possess a strong desire to solve healthcare challenges.
Have experience in marketing or commercial excellence departments within pharmaceutical companies, or have demonstrated high performance in commercial roles (including MR) with a focus on data-driven planning and execution.
Have experience delivering services centered on data analytics and data science to client companies, regardless of industry (consulting experience).
Possess a foundational understanding of data and analytics.
Understand the business processes of pharmaceutical companies.
Possess strong communication skills.
Demonstrate strong commitment to clients and assigned tasks.
Exhibit proactive behavior.
Possess skills and experience in personnel development.
Have a strong will to transform/contribute to the healthcare industry.
Fluent Japanese (native level).
Business-level English.
