About the Role
As a Teamcenter Solution Architect, you will design, deliver, and optimize enterprise PLM solutions based on Teamcenter for customers. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and define scalable solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor to transform product development and lifecycle processes.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end Teamcenter solution architectures based on customer business requirements, processes, and IT environments.
- Analyze customer PLM processes, organization structures, existing applications, data models, and system landscapes.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and maintainable Teamcenter solution designs.
- Define solution architecture, application landscape, integration architecture, data models, workflows, security concepts, and deployment approaches.
- Design Teamcenter solutions covering key PLM capabilities.
- Define appropriate Teamcenter configurations, extensions, customizations, and integrations while minimizing unnecessary customization.
- Establish architectural principles and design guidelines to ensure solution scalability, maintainability, performance, and upgradeability.
- Contribute to the development of reusable Teamcenter reference architectures, implementation methodologies, templates, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Capture lessons learned from customer projects and share knowledge across the Services organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in PLM consulting, solution architecture, enterprise software implementation, systems integration, or related technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter PLM architecture, configuration, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts, processes, and product lifecycle management practices.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable Teamcenter solutions.
- Experience designing Teamcenter solution architectures, including functional, technical, integration, and deployment architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and consulting skills.
- Experience working directly with customers to conduct requirements analysis, workshops, solution design, and technical decision-making.
- Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD, ERP, MES/MOM, or other enterprise applications.
