About the Role
The Server Assistant provides table service to taproom guests by delivering orders and ensuring a pleasant dining experience through table cleanliness. As a Tableside Brand Ambassador, you will educate guests about our products and deliver outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean taproom by clearing tables for efficient turnover.
- Visually inspect all food leaving expo, ensuring proper plating, sauce application, and presentation; return incorrect orders to the kitchen.
- Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory/product for the bar, changing kegs when required.
- Assist with cleaning the dining area, restocking server stations, and rolling silverware.
- Assist guests and servers/bartenders with other hospitality functions as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age* (17 allowed in certain counties).
- Previous experience as a server assistant, utility, or food runner preferred.
- Must maintain a positive attitude while working with a sense of urgency.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Contribute to overall taproom and kitchen cleanliness.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to lift, move, and carry kegs weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping and reaching.
