About the Role
The Warehouse role at SRS Building Products involves managing the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials to effectively serve business customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive, count, verify, and manually unload incoming orders and shipments, ensuring accurate logging and storage.
- Load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles, ensuring correct product handling and adherence to schedules.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, including general yard and office maintenance.
- Distribute materials to designated storage areas, conduct stock rotations, and report discrepancies or damaged products.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a cooperative and productive work environment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Flexibility for extended hours during peak seasons.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
- Effective time management and teamwork.
