About the Role
Join our Christmas Casual team at MYER Sydney Store during our busiest and most exciting time of year. Bring your energy to the floor, connect with customers, and collaborate to create great in-store experiences. This role is ideal for individuals starting out, building retail experience, or seeking career growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and share the spirit of Christmas.
- Maintain the highest levels of store presentation.
- Communicate product knowledge and styling techniques to maximize sales.
- Welcome and connect with customers, understanding their needs and offering support.
- Build knowledge of products, new arrivals, and styling techniques.
- Support customers across the shop floor, fitting rooms, and payment areas.
- Keep the store replenished, organized, and easy to shop.
- Process transactions efficiently while meeting sales targets.
- Handle stock management tasks, including restocking and inventory checks.
- Support the wider store team during peak trade.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to every shift.
- Learn on the go and be curious.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail experience (ideally in fashion).
- A genuine interest in fashion, product, and people.
- Confidence engaging with customers and creating a great shopping experience.
- A positive, curious, and team-focused approach.
- The ability to adapt and work at pace.
- Strong communication and a proactive mindset.
- Flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, late nights, and public holidays.
- Must be available from early November 2026 to the end of January 2027, including weekends and public holidays.
