About the Role

WME is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to design cloud infrastructure and improve system reliability for their internal platforms. This role is critical for ensuring the speed, availability, and observability of software used by agents and teams in the entertainment industry. You will own the end-to-end infrastructure and reliability, including cloud resource provisioning, Kubernetes management, CI/CD pipeline enhancement, and building observability tools. The position involves operating the new platform and supporting the migration from a legacy system.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve Azure infrastructure using Terraform, including networking, compute, managed services, and secrets.
Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based deployments for a distributed microservices platform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) for fast and safe deployments.
Define and improve observability, including metrics, logging, alerting, and tracing across services.
Lead incident response, drive resolution, write postmortems, and implement reliability improvements.
Manage PostgreSQL infrastructure, including backups, replication, failover, and query performance.
Collaborate with engineers to enhance local development environments and deployment workflows.
Enforce security best practices, such as secrets management, network policies, access controls, and vulnerability scanning.

Requirements

Solid DevOps or platform engineering experience, typically 5+ years.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure (AKS, Azure AD, managed databases, blob storage, networking).
Terraform experience in writing, organizing, and maintaining infrastructure as code at scale.
Kubernetes and Helm experience managing production workloads.
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
PostgreSQL experience, including operational management, migrations, and performance tuning.
Solid understanding of observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent).
Experience with incident response and driving reliability improvements from postmortems.
Docker and container image management experience.
Familiarity with secrets management tools (Azure Key Vault, Vault, or equivalent).
Comfortable working in evolving systems and processes.
