About the Role

The primary function of an Appearance Technician is to wash, detail, and buff/wax trucks, with potential for light tractor and/or trailer maintenance. This role offers an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Class 8 on-highway preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assess equipment conditions upon arrival using a checklist and summarize areas not meeting specified standards.
Physically scrub and rinse the entire exterior of equipment, including buffing and waxing as needed.
Clean all interior parts, including shampooing carpeted areas.
Perform minor tractor and/or trailer maintenance as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Valid driver's license required.
Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including good listening skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with drivers to explain cleanliness standards.
