About the Role
Interns will gain extensive hands-on experience in economic consulting, contributing to high-profile cases by understanding client issues, applying economic theory, and supporting analysis with empirical evidence. Interns typically join for 3-6 months during or after completing their economics degree(s).
Responsibilities
- Analysing qualitative and quantitative client data to understand industry competition.
- Reviewing literature and contributing to theoretical and empirical approach discussions.
- Conducting empirical analysis using Excel and Stata.
- Drafting reports that summarize analysis.
- Participating in client meetings and conference calls.
Requirements
- Currently undertaking or recently completed Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in economics, ideally with a focus on microeconomics, industrial organisation and/or econometrics.
- Fluency in English required.
- Fluency in German desirable.
- Highly analytical.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Stata and Excel skills desirable.
